This semester

Well, again, it has been quite some time since I've updated.  This semester has probably been my busiest semester so far here at LU.  Yesterday was, quite frankly, ridiculous.  I had lab from 8:00-10:15, then chapel 10:15-11:00, a flight block from 11:00-1:00, lunch for a half hour, then classes from 1:30-4:30.  After that it was back to the room to change for my interview at 5:15.  I finished the interview, ate dinner, then went to lab at 6:30.  I guess that is normal for the most part, but the interview made it seem like a whole lot more.  I have decided to run for student body president.  I realize this is a huge decision, but after two years as an RA I feel like I am ready for more.  I've been praying about it a lot, and I'm just going to have to wait and see what God has planned for me this next year.  If I don't get President, it will be interesting to see what happens.  Either way I am thankful that my summer plans seem to be lining up nicely.  May will be spent here for summer classes, then off to Oklahoma for the month of June and part of July.  Family vacation should be in July, then I'll be home for a while until coming back in August.  Its nice to have the future planned, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens for next year.  I think I've rambled long enough.

Week before finals

Another semester has gone by and I've learned quite a bit.  I guess I should hope so with as much as I'm paying to be here at school.  I'm looking forward to flying home to Montana on the 3rd.  I have 6 tests this week, 3 lab finals and 3 4th sectional tests for classes.  I should only have 4 finals, so thats nice i guess.  I'm not quite sure what I'm doing for a summer job, but I'm sure it will work out.  I've applied a few places, so I just have to wait and see.  I've been flying a lot recently.  I had about a 2 hour cross-country flight today and 2 flights that were about an hour and a half each yesterday.  I'm just about ready to finish up C1 and get my tailwheel endorsement.  Flying is pretty much awesome.  I know that was boring, but I'm not feeling particularly entertaining at the moment.  Hope it was informative at least.

Well...i'd say its been a while.  I think i'm writing this for the exact reason I used to write all the time, to put off doing homework.  It was interesting to go back and read some of the things I wrote.  I didn't remember some things quite the same way that I wrote about them.  Anyway...flying is pretty much awesome.  I don't so much enjoy the work it takes to plan everything ahead of time, but actually doing it is cool.  I am now officially a private pilot!  My plans haven't changed much in the past couple of years...still planning on graduating with a degree in Flight Science from LeTourneau University, then eventually working for MAF.  I guess some of my other interests haven't change either although i don't know whether that is unfortunate or not.  Basically I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do, but I feel a need to do something.  I don't think anyone reads this, so its just more an opportunity to record my thoughts for future review.  I may try to keep this up more often now.  We'll just have to wait and see. Later.

Hey everyone!  I think its probably about time to update.  College has been quite an experience so far.  Orientation was pretty cool.  I started the first week of school with a broken computer, then moved on to pop my front bike tire (lets just say riding down stairs, jumping off curbs etc is fun, but not generally a good idea).  I got my bike fixed and I'm using the computer lab, so things are good.  I've met a lot of new people.  My roomate is really cool.  His name is Gerrard and he's from Dallas (about 2 hrs. from Longview/Letourneau).  Homework hasn't been too bad since I'm only taking 14 credit hours b/c they lightened the load so I could play soccer.  Soccer has been somewhat frustrating because I am a benchwarmer...to be expected of course and at least I made the team, but its still annoying.  Its probably good for me though b/c I've never really had to look at things from this perspective before and it teaches me humbleness, patience, etc.  My roomate and I built some 2x4 shelves in our room and it looks really cool.  I'll try to post some pictures sometime.  Hope everyone else's college experience has been as positive as mine.  I'll try to find the time to read everyone's updates.  Keep in touch.  Later.

Hey everyone.  I need to get better about updating this, but who cares b/c I don't think anyone checks it anymore.  Let me know if I'm wrong.  Went to Cedar Point with Andy Creighton last Thursday...almost blacked out...awesome.  Worked 10 hrs. Saturday.  Went on a 60 mile bike ride yesterday, but amazingly I'm really not sore.  Been somewhat busy. Most everyone has started school.  I'm off to TX the 23rd and school starts the 29th.  Hope everyone has fun being a freshman again.  If you get bored just give me a call...chance are I'm bored too lol (I've got my # on facebook).  I think thats all for now.  Later.
